Rally meets Supercars at Adelaide Grand Final

Rally will be incorporated at November’s Adelaide Grand Final through a temporary special stage set in front of the famous heritage grandstand at Victoria Park.

Multiple Australian Rally Championship winner Harry Bates will lead 10 invited entries to compete in a side-to-side special stage combat.

Bates will pilot his championship winning Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 against what is expected to be a tough field of Australia’s leading drivers.

“I’m very pumped to be driving my Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 as part of the EROAD ARC Festival at the 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final,” said Bates.

“It’s going to bring rallying right into the middle of one of the biggest motorsport events in Australia. It’ll be fast and it’ll be something totally different for the fans.”

Adelaide Grand Final chief executive Mark Warren is excited to welcome rallying to the list of disciplines to be hosted at the event.

“The bp Adelaide Grand Final has non-stop on and off-track motorsport action and we are excited to add a brand-new component that highlights the impressive racing in the Australian Rally Championship,” said Warren.

“Racing action of this kind is unique, with all event patrons able to see the full figure-eight, pursuit-style track with their 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final general admission ticket.

“Joining our blockbuster event schedule, the ARC Festival will complement the wide range of on and off-track activities at this year’s event.”

The Australian Rally Championship Festival joins NAPA Speedway as motorsport activations as support to the Repco Supercars Championship’s Adelaide Grand Final on November 26-29.
