Will Brown has backed up his victory in Race 28 by taking pole for Sunday’s sole event after setting the fastest time in the Top 10 Shootout.
Brown led a Red Bull Ampol Racing 1-2 after setting a 1m 08.831s to score pole from Broc Feeney by 0.099s.
Penrite Racing’s Kai Allen will line up on the third row alongside Shell V-Power Racing Team’s Brodie Kostecki.
The only non-Ford inside the top 10 was Chaz Mostert’s Mobil 1 Optus Racing Toyota GR Supra in fifth ahead of Repco Sprint Cup leader Matt Payne.
Monster Castrol Racing driver Cam Waters was seventh fastest in the Top 10 Shootout where he will line-up alongside James Golding in the first of the Blanchard Racing Team Ford Mustangs.
Ninth was Golding’s teammate Aaron Cameron from Shell V-Power Racing Team’s rookie driver Rylan Gray.
On the borders of the top 10 are Anton De Pasquale, Andre Heimgartner, Jack Le Brocq, David Reynolds and Thomas Randle.
