Repco’s Bringin’ the Bathurst back for 2026

It’s on. Repco has launched its 2026 Bringin’ the Bathurst TV ad, getting race fans warmed up for Australasia’s greatest race: the Repco Bathurst 1000.

The leading automotive parts and accessories retailer has just pressed PLAY and we’re heading back to school. Well, the fictional Bathurst Driving School anyway, where a fresh class of students is learning what it takes to tackle Mount Panorama and earn their ‘B’ plates.

Leading the lesson is motorsport voice royalty Neil Crompton, alongside Garth Tander, with a few familiar faces dropping in to show the class how it’s done. Or, in some cases, how not to do it.

Greg Murphy, Larry Perkins, Dick Johnson, Tom Randall, Brodie Kostecki, David Reynolds and Shannon Noll all make an appearance, with plenty of nods to famous Bathurst moments for fans to spot along the way.

From pop-up roos and rocks to tight driving lessons and one student getting a little too confident, it’s a proper lap around Bathurst lore—with a few laughs thrown in for good measure.

“Bringin’ the Bathurst is Repco’s way of sharing a laugh with race fans,” said Mitch Wiley, Executive General Manager of Marketing at Repco.

“This year’s ad has plenty of familiar faces, moments and in-jokes that make Bathurst what it is. Keep your eyes peeled—there’s plenty in there.”

This year’s Bringin’ the Bathurst ad was produced by Repco in conjunction with leading Australian creative marketing agency Thinkerbell, who also produced last year’s ad, and the one before that. And all the others.

The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 race roars to life at the Mount Panorama Circuit from 8 – 11 October.
