Broc Feeney has made the perfect start to the Snowy River Caravans 440 by sweeping the practice sessions at Symmons Plains.
Feeney repeated his performance from the opening practice session earlier in the day driving the Red Bull Ampol Racing Camaro by setting a 51.088s to lead a Chevrolet lockout of the top seven positions.
Richie Stanaway led the way for PremiAir Racing in second just 0.099s off Feeney’s pace, with championship leader Will Brown was not far in arrears in third.
R&J Batteries Racing’s Andre Heimgartner, Jack Le Brocq and Cooper Murray for Erebus Motorsport in addition to the Supaglass Racing Camaro of Cam Hill completed the Chevrolet steamroller.
Leading the way for Ford was rookie Kai Allen just 0.227s off Feeney’s pace in the Penrite Racing Mustang as Cam Waters in the lead Castrol Monster Racing entry and the DEWALT Racing Camaro of Anton De Pasquale completed the top 10.
Ryan Wood, Bryce Fullwood, Jaxon Evans, David Reynolds and Matt Payne were just outside the top runners.
Further back, Thomas Randle, Brodie Kostecki, Will Davison, Nick Percat, James Courtney and Chaz Mostert endured a tough session.
