Just as Broc Feeney dominated Race 14, it was more of the same as this time Jack Le Brocq led from start-to-finish to give Truck Assist Racing its first win.
While Le Brocq was victorious it was a different story for championship leader Brodie Kostecki as a collision on the opening lap at Turn 6 damaged a steering rack forcing him to pit and re-join three laps down.
Le Brocq was never challenged as Andre Heimgartner repeated his second from Race 14 to finish the weekend with a double podium in the R&J Batteries Racing Camaro as Feeney won the round in third for Red Bull Ampol Racing.
Shane van Gisbergen uncharacteristically struggled this weekend, but finished in fourth from Cam Waters in the repaired Monster Energy Racing Mustang and the Coca-Cola Racing by Erebus Camaro of Will Brown.
Mark Winterbottom took another top 10 for DEWALT Racing as Mustangs completed the top 10 in the form of Shell V-Power Racing Team’s Will Davison, Chaz Mostert of Mobil 1 Optus Racing and Team Blanchard Racing driver Todd Hazelwood.
It proved a fantastic charge from Mostert after qualifying 25th to charge inside the top 10.
Kostecki’s failure in Race 15 closes the championship race to 59-points between the two Coca-Cola Racing by Erebus teammates heading to Townsville on July 7-9.
