For the next two Repco Supercars Championship rounds, Brad Jones Racing’s Macauley Jones will feature a striking new livery.
In association with title sponsor Pizza Hut, Jones has joined forces with Paramount to promote the action-packed film TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM and the Mutagen range.
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 carries a livery features the famous characters of Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo featuring dark undertones mated to fluorescent green radioactive ooze.
Not only will the outside take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme as Jones himself will wear a race suit inspired by the ‘heroes in a half shell’.
Ahead of the film’s release on September 7, the Pizza Hut Brad Jones Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will carry the livery this weekend at The Bend and the Penrite Sandown 500 on September 15-17 where he will be partnered by Jordan Boys.
“This is probably the coolest car I’ve ever raced and our usual Pizza Hut car is pretty cool,” Jones said.
“When the team at Pizza Hut raised the idea with us, I was psyched. I knew that we had to do the suit too. We just had to. When else am I going to get the chance to be part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
“The entire car looks sick and it’ll look even better on track. Pizza Hut are always up for having a bit of fun with us and I couldn’t be more pumped about that.
“One of the best things about this concept is that we get to carry it over from The Bend to Sandown, and Jordan [Boys, #96 co-driver for endurance races] gets to be a part of it as well.”
Pizza Hut Director of Marketing and Digital, Simon Stocks was excited to reveal the new livery in association with the release of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM.
