The 60th running of The Great Race at Mount Panorama – the Repco Bathurst 1000 – is upon us, and Repco has all of the bases covered for fans at the track, in Bathurst and at home.
Twenty eight Supercars cars have entered to face the starter’s orders on Sunday morning, but before the Supercars mountain symphony roars into life, there’s a full week of entertainment and activities planned.
Below is the huge list of what Repco is bringin’ to Bathurst in 2023.
NEW HARRIS PARK ENTRANCE
When fans arrive at the main Harris Park gates at the base of Mount Panorama, they will be greeted by new additions to the precinct, with an enhanced entrance walkway sure to capture the attention of race fans.
REPCO TRACKSIDE & MOUNTAINSIDE STORES
The Repco Trackside and Mountainside stores return this year, offering race goers plenty of camping, auto accessory and merchandise options to get them through the week of festivities.
The Trackside store is located at Harris Park and opens on Wednesday. The Mountainside store is on top of the mountain at McPhillamy Park and opens early on Tuesday.
THE GARAGE @ HARRIS PARK
The Repco Garage will be located for the second-straight year in Harris Park, offering up prizes, viewing decks and games for all ages.
The Pitstop Challenge is the hero of The Garage, giving fans the opportunity to feel like they are in a real-life Supercars pitstop.
Also at The Garage is the unique Repco Slot Car 1000 activity where you can race your mates around the replica track.
And look out for a tonne of giveaways, and if you sign up to The Garage (the digital home of news and videos for lovers of all things cars), you could win the Bringin’ the Bathurst ‘glove’ that appears in the Repco Bathurst commercial. The glove will be signed by the 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000 winners.
Need a lift from the pit area to The Chase? It’s a long walk! But Repco has you covered, thanks to the Rider, which is a free travel option for fans looking to head from the pits up through the campgrounds and to The Chase. The pick up points for the Repco Rider will be in the pits at the pit exit end and The Chase.
MEAT TRAY RAFFLES
Meat tray raffles will be held in the campgrounds around the circuit from Wednesday to Saturday night. The evening fun includes heaps of giveaways, singing competitions, NED Whisky vouchers and 333 sauces giveaways. There’s something for every camper at the famous Repco Meat Tray Raffles!
