Race winning duo Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale will continue at Shell V-Power Racing Team into the Gen3 era.
De Pasquale and Davison have each taken race wins so far this season as both feature inside the top five in the Repco Supercars Championship standings.
There was speculation surrounding Davison’s future at the team as rising star Will Brown was rumoured to be in contention, but he alongside teammate Brodie Kostecki announced their re-signing at Erebus Motorsport during the last event at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Davison has scored six pole positions this season and broke through to win his first race in six years at Wanneroo Raceway as he sits fourth in the points.
“I’m very excited to continue driving for the Shell V-Power Racing Team,” Davison said.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to race in the iconic Shell V-Power colours, the legendary No. 17 and for such an iconic race team in DJR.
“I can’t wait to build on the excellent results we’ve had to date and continue fighting for race wins.
“I love working with the entire race team, they’re a great group of people and feel like family.”
Emerging as a consistent frontrunner during his first season with the squad last year, De Pasquale has continued this to score eight podiums and a win during his campaign this year as he highlighted the family-based environment created as key factor in its success.
“The family culture that Dick and Ryan have created at the team is like no other and I am excited to remain with the Shell V-Power Racing Team,” De Pasquale said.
“It is a great team to work with and for and to have continuity and stability with the team going into next year is excellent, and to have a great teammate in Will.
“We both want to get more wins and continue to be up the front not only for the team but for our partners and the fans.”
It’s been a big week for announcements for Shell V-Power Racing Team after it confirmed the Ralph family through its Melbourne Aces Baseball Club entity had purchased a majority share in the operation starting in January next year.
