Red Bull has welcomed Australian Daniel Ricciardo back into the fold by allowing him to take an RB7 across the country resulting in an action-packed video.
Meeting friends across the way, Ricciardo leaves his native Western Australia and meets Dakar ace Daniel Sanders in the outback testing the RB7’s durability.
Ricciardo links up with Matt Hall on the eastern seaboard where the aerobatic pilot ensures a spectacular tour of Wollongong’s Sea Cliff Bridge on the Grand Pacific Highway. Ricciardo has the bridge to himself as Hall glides across providing picturesque imagery from one of Australia’s most famous pieces of tarmac.
From there, Sydney for a brief stay is the next destination before Ricciardo heads to Queensland where he meets up with off road legend Toby Price in his Mitsubishi Triton Trophy Truck for some more antics in the dirt.
However, next up is the final test at Mount Panorama where the seven-time Formula 1 race winner takes on the most famous ribbon of tarmac in the country. Who better to guide him around then reigning Repco Bathurst 1000 winner Shane van Gisbergen?
Driving the new Gen3 specification Chevrolet Camaro, van Gisbergen showcases the Mountain to Ricciardo as the RB7 cruises around and flies down Conrod Straight.
It provides a perfect lead-in to this weekend’s Rolex Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix where Red Bull Racing will aim to continue its unbeaten run this season with Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Ricciardo as third driver.
