When first connecting with Supercars, Ryco understood that the teams had one major goal they wanted to achieve: to extend their race car’s engine life to reduce rebuild frequency, with filtration playing a key role.
Ryco accepted this challenge and designed a range of new filtration products specifically for Supercars whereby the parts would deliver outstanding filtration and extended engine life without ever compromising flow or performance.
Along with being engineered, developed, and tested at Australia’s only dedicated filtration laboratory, Ryco’s range of GEN3 Control Parts designed specifically for the Repco Supercars Championship is in direct response to the transition to the GEN3 platform. This was a move that aimed to significantly reduce competition costs, an important factor to keeping the sport thriving.
What Ryco found was that these benefits were transferable to other race categories and everyday passenger cars.
Transferring this knowledge into other categories such as 4×4 and passenger vehicles has meant the ability to exceed OE standards and progress further with filter improvements as well as new developments. All of this means that fine dust environments often found in Australia won’t affect an engine using this filter and can even possibly extend its life cycle.
